walk of shame at midnight.

So, I didn't think anyone would really notice if I took the shopping cart.

Anytime I see one of these things near my house and being perfectly aware that there isn't a grocery or pharmacy MILES from my house I am always just flabbergasted of all the endless stories and possibilities of how in the hell this thing got here.
I'm sure the actual reason is nowhere as interesting, BUT it makes a great prop. Especially when you make it look like you are walking the runway with your shopping cart. This just proves the fact..

"It doesn't matter what you wear it, its how you wear it".

My dear best friend and professional badass and singer., Katie Waissel from the band Red velvet told me the other night (as her and I sipped our 20 dollar drinks at the Chateau Marmot).

Our drinks and dinner cost at 10 times the prices of my ensemble that evening but I can promise you. I felt like like a million.

BTW ENTIRE OUTFIT THRIFTED EXCEPT SHOES!

The amazing photography by Jeff Linett. Where he knows how to shoot me with a cart, no matter what. Thanks Jeff.

Blue monday.

who says love doesn't exist in hollywood?

I recently find myself wearing one of two colors. Red or Blue. Not consciously but I think they have been fitting my moods. The days I feel at my most powerful I am inspired by any shade of red but particularly blood red, Valentino Red. Then, there are days like today when I just was not ready for the week to start and the weekend to end. Here I am, living the healthy life, starting my day off right with a Redbull.

What is art to you?

When I first started modeling I had no idea that it would turn into something much more creatively fulfilling for me. It became less about the industry and more about creating art.
I started shooting at 19. Nothing major but I got a feel for it and eventually when I met my bestfriend/photographer Jeff Linett that is when I realized that when I completely let myself go, the same way I would if I were painting or drawing, in the zone. I could connect emotionally with the camera more than I could vocally or in "real life". This is when the beast was let loose..

Here is the video from an editorial for Agenda Magazine I had done and full editorial found at the link below.

Agenda Magazine-- "A Movement Study"

I love playing with shadows, contouring and movement of course. Not to mention the connection I intend to make is always genuine, the pain or beauty or love that I feel is always poured into whatever outlet I choose. Music is also an insanely important part of my process. There is music playing at all times during my day. Sometimes its just in my head, but whatever works.

I believe that anyone is capable of "the zone".  I call it wake meditation. You are completely in the moment. You feel what you feel and you accept it. You are alive, let all that emotion take over your body and you can create anything.

I should also mention that the caplet I'm wearing belonged to Courtney Love at one point. Crazy bitch.
Enjoy--

Her.

I'm real. At least physically.

Everything I write, every picture I post, every piece of art you see is mine. It came from the deepest part of me. Please don't steal. You can have your own original ideas too. Just gotta put the bong down, or up. Depending who you are.

I reside in Los Angeles. I'm a cancer and I'm an artist. I create things, photographs, paintings, writing and modeling. These are the things that make me. They also may break me once in a while but real true pain is the most beautiful gift you can receive, without struggles there can be no growth.

I decided instead of constantly trying to live happy I'm going to just live, and that is what will make me free.
