Liner Magazine editorial.

Recent editorial. Model, stylist and writer. Triple threat? Maybe...

Love this black on black I picked out.

It's all about mixing textures, not to mention the cut on these Helmut Lang pants are badass.

Sometimes a little lucite is all you need.

I love this particular outfit because of the sheer simplicity of it. I love my little denim high waisted shorts with "too cool" detail reppin Merica'. The one thing that takes this outfit from bum town to LA cool are my Chinese Laundry lucite heels. Can't help but feel put together and comfortable all at once. Mission accomplished.

And so we begin..

It's been months since my last entry and honestly at some points I just wanted to delete my entire blog. Since my last post in March, so many things have happened and so many lessons were learned that oneday I realized, instead of deleting this blog I would begin again with a new chapter.
My style is also changing. I'm finding myself again and it's interesting to see how much everything changes when you are in a very different (and happy) place in your life.

I bought this overalls st Zara in the beginning of summer. I love the simplicity the entire looks exudes, yet the shoes make it my own. The shoes are a perfect condition satin vintage heel.

blue moon.

The color blue has always captivated me.

It represents freedom; a sense of calm and spring time.
I have been rather missing in action and I do sincerely apologize to those who read my blog on a
regular.  My family needed me and I had to put my entire life on hold while my life was in the midst
of the eye of the tornado.  I decided to start fresh and wanted to share with you my new chapter of
my new life. I renovated my apartment, my wardrobe, my attitude and and perception.

I'm ready for ya world..

boobiesN'jackets

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am addicted to buying jackets. I realize Los Angeles may seem like a ridiculous place to have an abundance of overcoats, but the nights here a little chilly. However, when you want to dress up a plain jean and tee, a jacket is a great addition  that will immediately tie to any outfit together, making you look effortlessly chic [or if you happen to be naked].

The first photo was taken as a test shot, this was my actual outfit of the day. I had a 90s inspired day: my mood dictated baggy Levi's and a gray tank top with a hand knit scarf (courtesy of my grandmother). You will notice I wore my handmade Mala prayer beads throughout the entire shoot. The last few photos don't have any jackets or much of anything but the shoot ended up being natural and beautiful and I wanted to share.

As you may have probably noticed, I love all things vintage. I like to mix and match vintage (in this case jackets) with current trends. This way you can always infuse your own style into any trend without ever looking like anyone else [or if you happen to be naked].

I hope you enjoy the photos ladies and gentlemen .  .

and badder than ever.

We are embarking on a new year. A fresh start and a chance to reinvent yourself. Nothing feels better than going through a year of struggle only to truly learn who you are and have spiritual growth. Once you can look back you realize how strong you are and how many more chances you have to reinvent yourself, and grow, and learn. Once you realize you don't know everything, you get a whole new excitement for the unknown, and leave fear in the dust. Now you get to change your style, wear things you never thought you could. Try new things with your hair, makeup and suddenly your personality shines and your confidence is reinstated and renewed.

Here are some of my 2014 inspirations.  I hope they make you think of some of your own..

The vulnerable truth

This shoot with Ed Duarte took place last week. It was complete natural lighting, I have no makeup on and I just needed to prove (to myself) being sexy isn't about the makeup or hair, obviously. It's your attitude and the way you feel inside.
Sometimes you need to humble yourself and realize who you are isn't what you wear or what others see.  It's that part of you that no one can see or hear; only you know exactly who you are and the day you fall in love with that part of yourself, forgiving all the mistakes you made in the past is the day you become your truth.
